This advanced anti-ageing serum works hard to combat the effects of environmentally-induced skin damage and helps to protect against future signs of ageing. A highly bioactive form of retinol supports the skin’s natural production of collagen and visibly reduces signs of ageing, without causing irritation like some traditional forms of retinol.
Our highly bioavailable retinol visibly reduces the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles and other signs of ageing.
Retinol helps slow the breakdown of collagen, leaving you with softer skin and a more even skin tone.
Retinol can also press pause and help protect against future signs of ageing and environmental damage.
This highly bioavailable, highly advanced form of retinol (also known as vitamin A) combats the visible effects of environmentally-induced skin damage and signs of ageing. It supports skin's natural collagen production which results in the visible reduction of fine lines and wrinkles, a more even skin tone and texture and brighter, more youthful skin.
Antioxidant-rich aloe vera is the perfect accompaniment for active retinol - it helps to soothe, nourish and moisturise your skin throughout the renewal process.
This patented lipid complex features super nourishing, botanically-sourced lipids like jojoba, macadamia and olive. It’s designed to be similar to the skin surface lipid profile of a healthy 22-year-old.
Retinol serums are specially formulated to help reduce signs of ageing, while also protecting against future signs of ageing too! Retinol is a form of vitamin A that speeds up cell turnover (this unfortunately declines as we get older), supports the skin's natural collagen production, refines pores and balances oil production - altogether this helps skin look smoother and brighter.
We recommend going easy when you first start using retinol, as some people need to build up a tolerance to it. Try using it once or twice a week, see how your skin reacts, and then move up to 3 - 4 times per week.
We love retinol, but she doesn't always play nice with others! You should avoid exfoliating and using AHAs or BHAs on the same evenings that you use retinol to avoid irritation and sensitivity.
Some people may notice some changes straight away, but it general takes between 2 to 4 months to see noticeable results when using retinol serums.
You should stop using retinol if you're experiencing any intense flaking, redness or burning. Remember when you first start using retinol, it's a good idea to introduce it slowly. You might experience some dryness at first, but make sure you are using a good moisturiser and take it slow!
In our 20s, our skin cells turnover roughly every 28 days. When we start to head towards our 30s, 40s and beyond, this process slows down to 45+ days, leading our skin to look dry, dull and (gasp!) wrinkly. Retinol can help speed up this process to tackle signs of ageing.
