What's the difference between ThemGenes and DewyDays?
We created DewyDays and ThemGenes for people that don't want to decipher skincare ingredients, and are looking for an easy to use, multitasking serum that delivers specific results. Antioxidant-rich DewyDays has been designed to use during the day to protect against environmental pollution and provide glow and hydration. Age-defying ThemGenes has been designed to use at night thanks to its more luxurious formula.
What's the difference between a serum and a moisturiser?
Serums are more lightweight and concentrated. They typically include more active ingredients than moisturisers and are designed to penetrated deeper into the skin to provide results for specific concerns. Moisturisers generally have a thicker consistency. They're formulated with occlusive ingredients that work on the surface of the skin to create a barrier that locks moisture in. Our multitasking serums include occlusives which is why they can also be used on their own as a light moisturiser.
Do I need to use a moisturiser as well?
No you don't. If you want to keep things simple, or if your skin prefers lighter formulations, you can use ThemGenes as a light night cream! This can depend on your skin type, so if your skin doesn't feel hydrated enough, it might be a good idea to use a moisturiser as well.
