Jeuneora - smoothie & ice-pop recipes with marine collagen

Smoothies and Jeuneora-pops with Renew+

September 25, 2017

As well as smoothies, you can also add Jeuneora Marine Collagen to homemade ice blocks for an easy yet super refreshing collagen-pop.

You can use any smoothie or iceblock/popsicle recipe you like (providing it mixes well with the pineapple taste of Renew+ which contains pineapple extract (bromelain) and pineapple powder).

Some of these recipes will serve more than one. If you have left over and no-one to share with, then pop the left over into some iceblock moulds and voila! You have frozen treats on hand!

We hope that gives you a bit of inspiration to get into the kitchen and have a bit of fun figuring out creative ways to add a little collagen into your day!

Pina Colada Smoothie

  • 2 frozen bananas
  • 1 cup pineapple chunks (canned or fresh. If canned, select 'in juice only')
  • 1 cup coconut milk (from the can)
  • 1/2 tsp Honey or maple syrup, to taste
  • 1 scoop Renew+ Pineapple flavoured

Blend with a few chunks of ice and enjoy.

Very Berry Smoothie / Slushy

  • Half a cup of fresh or frozen blueberries (organic is best)
  • Half a cup of fresh or frozen boysenberries
  • 3/4 cup of ice
  • 1 scoop Renew+
  • Optional mint leaf

Blend with 1.5 cups water (or less if you want more of a frozen texture)

Lush Layered Tropical Avocado Smoothie

  • 1.5 cups pineapple juice (no added sugar)
  • 2 kiwifruit, peeled
  • 1.5 cups frozen or fresh mango chunks
  • Half a small, ripe avocado, peeled and cored
  • 3/4 cup coconut milk (from box or can)
  • 1.5 cups frozen strawberries
  • 1 scoop Renew+

Method

Pour pineapple juice into a blender. Add in mangoes, kiwifruit and avocado. Blend until smooth. Divide smoothie among 3 - 4 glasses. Rinse blender. Add coconut milk and strawberries to blender and blend until smooth. Spoon strawberry smoothie over smoothie in glasses. Serve immediately.

Kiwi Crush Pops

All you need to make delicious popsicles/ice blocks is an ice block mould (we just got ours from The Warehouse or Kmart!)

  • One kiwifruit, peeled and sliced
  • Cranberry juice (no added sugar if you can find it)
  • 1 scoop Renew+
  • Water

Method

Place a slice of kiwifruit in each ice block mould up against the side, so it sticks. Blend together cranberry juice, water, and Renew+ until you get a taste you are happy with, then add leftover kiwifruit if you still have some! Carefully pour the liquid into the moulds, add the sticks or lids to the top and place in freezer!

Clean summer popsicles

These are another clean and easy treat - here are three flavours you can choose from. All you need to do is blend into a smoothie and then pour into ice block moulds.

Green Envy Pops:

  • 1 ripe banana (or even frozen banana)
  • Some fresh spinach (around a handful)
  • 1 scoop Renew+
  • 1/2 cup Coconut or almond milk

Orange Pops:

  • Frozen mango chunks (leave some un-blended to pop in the iceblock mould)
  • Half a banana
  • 1 scoop Renew+
  • 1/2 cup Coconut milk

Berries and Cream Pops:

  • Handful of Blueberries
  • 1 scoop Renew+
  • approx. 1/2 cup of milk or nut milk
  • Pour a little bit of runny cream on top once you have poured into the moulds.

The BEST collagen supplement on the market!

I have been taking Renew+ for over a year now and it is by far the best collagen supplement for long lasting results. My hair grows so quickly, my hairdresser is always floored each time I see her. My skin is clearer, healthier and younger looking, I always get comments on my "glow". My tummy issues are but a thing of the past and the flavors are all so delish (mixed berry is my fav tho). Highly recommend. You won't be disappointed.
